RelaxInChina publishes travel information for international visitors to China. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit relaxinchina.com, submit a website form, follow a link to another service, or contact us. It also explains the choices and rights that may apply to you.
1. Who is responsible for this website
RelaxInChina is a registered trademark of Shenzhen Tuohaiqihang Co., Ltd., which operates this website and is responsible for personal information processed through it.
Registered or contact address:
Room E405, Hongxin Haoyuan, No. 8 Shixia North Street, Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Privacy contact:

2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal information processed through relaxinchina.com.
It does not automatically cover hotels, transport companies, booking platforms, hospitals, insurers or other websites reached through an external link. Those organizations control their own services and publish their own privacy information.
This website policy does not yet cover a future RelaxInChina iOS app. The app must have a policy that reflects its tested data flows before it is released.
3. Information you submit
The website’s current contact form asks for:
- your name;
- your email address;
- an optional Mobile/WhatsApp number; and
- a free-text message.
Submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database and sent by email to the site’s monitored contact inbox. The notification can also contain the visitor’s IP address and the page from which the form was submitted. Authorized site administrators and people responsible for answering the enquiry may access this information.
We use this information only to receive, review and reply to the enquiry. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Do not use a general website form for an emergency. Do not submit passport copies, payment credentials, insurance records or detailed health information unless a dedicated form specifically requests that information and explains why it is needed.
4. Website, device and analytics information
The website uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Site Kit to understand how visitors find and use the site. Depending on the visitor’s consent choice and the configuration in use, analytics information may include:
- pages viewed and interactions with the website;
- referring pages or campaign information;
- browser and device information;
- approximate location derived from an IP address;
- cookie or similar identifiers; and
- the date and time of an interaction.
Hosting, content-delivery and security systems may also create technical logs needed to deliver the site, prevent abuse and investigate errors. These may include IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser information and security events.
5. How information is used
RelaxInChina processes information for the following confirmed or planned purposes:
- Enquiry handling: to receive and reply to a message that you choose to send.
- Website delivery and security: to deliver pages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors and protect the service.
- Audience measurement: to understand which pages and guides are useful, where consent has been provided when required.
- Compliance: to respond to valid legal requests and to exercise or defend legal claims where applicable.
Depending on the law that applies, processing may be based on your consent, steps taken at your request, legal obligations, or the website operator’s legitimate interests in answering enquiries and maintaining a secure website. Analytics that is not strictly necessary should rely on the visitor’s consent where an opt-in rule applies.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use the following categories:
- Necessary technologies for security, consent choices and core website operation.
- Analytics technologies from Google Analytics 4, used only according to the consent choice and configuration that applies.
- External media requests when a page loads an image, font or other resource hosted by another provider. The provider may receive technical request information such as an IP address, browser information, referrer and request time.
A cookie preference control must be available on the website when this page is published. Visitors must be able to accept or reject non-essential technologies and later reopen Cookie settings to change their choice.
Current advertising or affiliate-tracking technologies must not be listed unless a production scan confirms that they are active and the relevant consent controls and disclosures are in place.
7. Service providers and other recipients
Information may be handled by providers that support the website, including:
- Hostinger, for website hosting and delivery infrastructure;
- Google, for Google Analytics 4 and Site Kit where analytics is enabled;
- email infrastructure used to deliver contact-form notifications; and
- external media providers, such as Google Fonts or Unsplash, when their resources are embedded on a page.
WordPress, Elementor and Fluent Forms are software used on the site. Whether a software vendor receives personal information depends on the actual hosting and transmission configuration; a plugin name alone does not make that vendor a recipient.
Hostinger also provides the website’s hosting-related delivery, email and backup infrastructure. We do not sell personal information or share contact-form information for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising. If the providers or uses described here materially change, this policy and the relevant consent controls will be updated.
8. External and commercial links
The website contains links to services operated by other organizations. When you follow an external link, the destination may collect information under its own privacy policy and settings.
If a link has an affiliate or other commercial relationship, that relationship should be disclosed near the relevant link. RelaxInChina does not control the privacy practices of the destination service.
9. International data transfers
The website operator is based in China. Hostinger, Google and other providers may process information in countries where they or their infrastructure operate. Where applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, we use the provider’s contractual terms and other safeguards required for that transfer. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
10. Retention and deletion
Personal information should be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including any applicable legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution requirement.
- Contact-form database submissions: up to 24 months after the enquiry is received.
- Form-notification emails: up to 24 months after the enquiry is received.
- Google Analytics information: up to 14 months for event-level data.
- Server and security logs: retained under Hostinger’s operational and security schedules and deleted when no longer needed for those purposes.
- Backups: overwritten or deleted through the hosting provider’s normal backup rotation.
11. Security
RelaxInChina uses administrative and technical measures intended to protect website information, including restricted administrator access, HTTPS transport and the security controls provided by the hosting environment. Access should be limited to people who need the information for an authorized purpose.
No website, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights relating to your personal information. These may include asking for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of information; objecting to certain uses; or withdrawing consent.
To make a privacy request, contact Market@relaxinchina.com. We may need enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant record. The applicable response period, appeal route and regulator depend on the law that applies to the request.
You can change non-essential cookie and analytics choices at any time through the website’s Cookie settings control.
13. Children
RelaxInChina provides travel information for travelers and trip planners and is not directed to children. If we identify personal information submitted by a child, we will review and delete it when it is not required by law to be retained. A parent or guardian may contact us to request a review.
14. Medical and other sensitive information
RelaxInChina publishes general travel information, including information about finding medical care. It is not an emergency service and does not provide medical diagnosis.
Do not use the general contact form for urgent assistance or to send detailed medical records, passport copies, insurance policy numbers, financial credentials or other sensitive documents. If sensitive information is submitted in free text, access should be minimized and the information deleted when it is not needed to answer or route the enquiry.
15. Changes to this policy
This policy should be reviewed when the website changes its forms, analytics, advertising, affiliate relationships, service providers or other data practices. The “Last updated” date will be revised when a material change is published.
