Practical information, not a booking service

A useful travel guide should help with the next decision, not just describe a destination. Our guides focus on questions such as:

  • Which airport or railway station is on your itinerary?
  • Which document needs to match your reservation?
  • What should you prepare before trying a payment or transport app?
  • Who handles a booking change or refund?
  • Which official authority should you consult about a changing rule?

Browse our China travel guides or use the travel pocket cards for short reference checklists.

Who publishes the website

The publisher is Shenzhen Tuohaiqihang Co., Ltd., based in Shenzhen, China. RelaxInChina is the visitor-facing brand used for the website's editorial material.

For website questions, accessibility issues or corrections, contact Market@relaxinchina.com. This is not an emergency service or a provider's booking-support desk. We cannot access reservations made with another company.

Our limits

RelaxInChina is not a government authority, embassy, railway, airline, hotel, clinic or travel agency. We do not:

  • Approve, issue or expedite visas or permits.
  • Sell tickets, accommodation, tours, insurance or medical services.
  • Take booking payments or hold reservations.
  • Change, cancel or refund another provider's bookings.
  • Provide medical diagnosis, treatment or legal advice.
  • Guarantee a price, schedule, admission, service availability or policy outcome.

When you follow a link to a provider, that provider's current terms and support channels apply. Our Help Center explains where to take booking and website questions.

How guides are prepared

For new and substantially updated pages, our editorial standard is to:

  1. Start with a specific reader task and explain the practical limitation.
  2. Check regulated and time-sensitive claims against the relevant official authority or operator. Examples include the National Immigration Administration for entry information and 12306 for official railway information.
  3. Include a review date and source links where the reader needs to check a changing rule, price or procedure.
  4. Distinguish source-based research from a first-hand test. A sourced guide must not imply that we completed a journey, tried an app or inspected a facility when we have not.
  5. Keep commercial links separate from editorial explanations and avoid promises about third-party services.

Older material is being reviewed in stages. A review date does not guarantee that every detail will still be current when you travel. Check the operator or authority again before relying on a time-sensitive detail.

Images and evidence

Images are illustrations, not proof that we visited a place or used a service. Our standard for new and updated material is to retain its source and usage-rights information, describe the location truthfully, and identify conceptual or AI-generated illustrations when appropriate. A photograph of an attraction must not stand in for a hospital or another unrelated facility.

Some pages link to Trip.com, Klook or Viator through affiliate links. If you make an eligible purchase after following one of those links, the programme may pay us a commission. This is not a claim that every click or purchase generates revenue.

The provider sets prices and terms, takes payment and handles the booking. RelaxInChina does not control those prices or gain access to your reservation. Affiliate links should carry a disclosure beside the link; older pages are being brought up to that standard. This About page contains no affiliate booking links.

Frequently asked questions

Can RelaxInChina book my trip?

No. We publish travel information. Booking, payment and after-sales support belong to the provider you choose.

Are all guides based on personal travel tests?

No. Some guides are source-based. They should state their limitations and must not present research as a first-hand test.

How do I report an out-of-date rule?

Send the page URL and relevant official source to our corrections email. For your own travel decision, consult the responsible authority rather than waiting for a website update.

Before you act

Use the guide to prepare your questions, then confirm the live rule or service with the organisation responsible for it. RelaxInChina helps you plan; it does not act on your behalf.
